# Christ at the Center & God’s Good Sovereignty — A Short KJV Handout > A compact set of verses you can read aloud together. All quotations are from the King James Version (KJV). --- ## 1) Rightly Dividing: Let the New Testament read the Old **2 Timothy 2:15** — “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” **Luke 24:27** — “And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.” **Hebrews 10:1** — “For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect.” --- ## 2) One People of God in Christ (no wall of partition) **Ephesians 2:14–16** — “For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us; Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace; And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby.” **Galatians 3:28–29** — “There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
